Weedon Bec to Stoke Breune bottom lock 9.5 miles 7 locks and theBlisworth tunnel, 5 hours & 20 mins

Had a lovely birthday meal at the Narrow Boat pub Weedon Bec last night.

Left Weedon Bec at 9:15

Travelled through Blisworth tunnel, the 3rd longest tunnel on the canal network, passed 3 boats in the tunnel, the 2nd one, thought he had the use of the whole tunnel - we now have a lovely scuff mark on the bow of the boat as evidence! (Another job for Rodney and his trusty paintbrush)

Daylight at last!

We now headed to Stoke Breune - Mike this is really where the museum is :-)

It was the a 7 lock drop, from the top of Stoke Breune to the bottom, and only one lock with boats heading towards us, Tracy will soon have muscles like Popeye, moored up in time to watch Andy Murray win.
